Mikayla and Red!

What a fun night of celebrating Mikayla's 10th birthday as a family. Of course, she wanted to go to Red Robin for dinner. The kids absolutely love that place. Red Robin was actually there so that was a nice surprise (although she hesitated a bit as to whether or not it was still cool ) We saw some friends there from church so that was fun too. After dinner she got to go and pick out her new rollerblades from papa so she was pretty excited about that!

She is growing up. There's no denying the fact that we have moved on to that next stage in life. There aren't really toys that much anymore. Now there are sports equipment, electronics, and wii games. There isn't a cutsie theme requested anymore, just "movies, sleepovers, and DQ with my friends mom". It's o.k. though. I love it. I love growing with my kids and experiencing who they are becoming.
