Don't Forget!!

Life is busy! I don't think any of you will argue with that. I know the mom's won't!! I've had to become very purposeful with my days. When to exercise, when to study, biblestudy times, kids at school, a kid at home, women's ministries, being a wife, being a neighbor, (I really need to megacook), the list goes on and on. But I was tenderly reminded yesterday that sometimes we miss nourishing some of the things that mean the most to us. But that can be overwhelming just thinking about it!! And then this morning, I was priviledged to read what was in Jenny's heart and it blessed and focused me.

What I do know is that we all have that friendship that could use a call today. We all have that person that is on our mind but we are always in the middle of something. We all have that prayer request we can intercede for. Don't Forget!! Just Do It...today. Or maybe you need to let someone else nourish you today. Maybe it's God who wants to nourish you today. Let them.

One of the ways that God is nourishing me right now is through the gift of friendship. So this is a thankyou to all my friends. Some are close and some are far away. Some I get to talk to a lot and some I only get to comment on blogs every once in awhile. Some I get to cry with and some I get to pray for. There is a purpose to each one and I thank God for all of you.

Is that Sun or is that Snow?

Well, the sun popped out again today and I couldn't resist it. Since the kids had the day off we met up with grandma and Lauren at the park and then with Aunt Chrissy for some frosties at Wendy's. Super fun time. There was a chill in the air so we had our coats and such. But we didn't know we would need our snowboots!! I guess they decided to bring in a ton of snow for the annual "Snowed In" at the park. Mikayla did remember to bring some roller skates though. She is really into roller skating all of a sudden and our neighbor is letting her borrow her new Bratz skates. They are too cool. She is so excited to really be getting the hang of it before the birthday parties this weekend. Oh and I recently learned of a new function on my camera called color accent so hence all the pictures with color hues and different looks.

Family Night

We had a family night tonight with some PPC gang. It was so much fun. We took the kids rollerskating and man did they love it. They fell as much as they skated. It was Jordan and Isabella's first time in a roller rink and they did great. Jordan said he wished we lived there, in the rink! While we were there it dumped snow all night. It was a fun way to say goodbye to the holidays and hopefully get back to school tomorrow!

Jordan's New Babe!

Jordan and I worked furiously today to make a snowperson. We didn't know it would end up being his new girlfriend when we started but that's how it turned out. We had so much fun. If you have any good suggestions for her name let us know. We're stumped!
